Melling do Brasil is pleased to announce the indication of Sidney Del Gaudio as President and CEO of Melling do Brasil as of February 1st , 2010 reporting directly to Mark Melling.

In this capacity, Sidney will be responsible to coordinate all companies activities in the South America region focused on the company growth, increasing product portfolio as well as diversify the customer base and market segments.

Sidney Del Gaudio , with more than 30 years of experience in the auto industry, has served as a President of Meritor Suspension Systems, a J/V with Mitsubishi Steel, and Vice-President and General Manager for ArvinMeritor Undercarriage System. Prior to taking leadership of the ArvinMeritor Wheels Business, Sidney also served 02 years as the President of TI Walbro Automotive in Brazil. Previous to that role, served 15 years as Vice-President of Dana Corporation in Brazil.

Del Gaudio holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Osvaldo Cruz University in São Paulo, Brazil, as well as executive development programs at Stanford University, Pennsylvania State University and Fundação Getulio Vargas.
